Marine-themed, child-friendly play: a space for littler boaters to come and play, learn and make new friends. Their grown-ups are welcome to do the same!
Activities will vary each week but may include trying out some child-friendly knots, exploring canal wildlife, crafting miniature boats and more. More info on Eventbrite (which we'd be grateful if you could read before attending!)

We'd like to mark the end of an incredibly busy and exciting summer - and what better way than with a party? On Fri 11th Sept, we'll stay open late and would love all our amazing customers and friends to come join us for one last hurrah, before autumn arrives and events take on a cosier feel.
BYOB + we'll have a selection of drinks available for a fee here.
Tickets are free (with optional donation) and we'd appreciate it if you could nab yours on Eventbrite so we can keep track of numbers.

A hands-on workshop covering a range of essential knots. Leave knowing your bowline from your clove hitch.

A beginner-friendly workshop on 12V electrics. Leave with a better understanding of your boat’s circuit and the ability to troubleshoot common issues.
6pm – 7:30pm
Discover how to troubleshoot electrical problems on your boat’s 12v circuit. We’ll chat essential tools, safety tips and common issues. Feel free to bring questions!

After booking, please email us at info@themarineemporium.co.uk and we'll get back to you with a confirmation email as soon as we can.
* The reference should be the name of the event (for example, “Knots”). For regular socials that occur monthly, please also add the date (for example, “FLINTA July”).
To keep our socials as inclusive as possible, ticket prices for these operate on a sliding scale. We don’t ever want money to be a barrier for our events, so we also offer a very limited number of free tickets for those on low/no income - please email info@themarineemporium.co.uk if this applies to you.
We don’t ask for proof of income, but if you are able to pay for your ticket, you’re helping us keep these events running and accessible for our whole community.
